Terms of Service
Effective October 17, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the owner of Ivy’s Index, a sole proprietorship in Washington State (“Ivy’s Index”, “we”, “us”) for using ivysindex.com. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them. Please read them; we’ve tried to keep them plain.
What Ivy’s Index does
Ivy’s Index asks you about your work and builds a resume, cover letters, and interview practice from your answers. It also shows job listings from employers’ own career sites and career information from public U.S. government data.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use Ivy’s Index.
- Give a real email address, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account.
Your content
Your resumes, answers, and notes belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Ivy’s Index for you. We write resume lines from what you tell us, but you are responsible for making sure everything you send to an employer is true. Read your resume before you use it.
Plans and billing
- Building your resume is free. Paid plans (Career, Plus, and Pro) are monthly subscriptions at the prices shown on our pricing page when you sign up.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month and are charged to your payment method through Stripe until you cancel.
- Cancel any time in two clicks from the billing page in the app. You keep your paid features until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
- Payments aren’t refunded for partial months. If something went wrong with a charge (for example, you were billed twice, or after you canceled), email us within 7 days and we’ll make it right.
- If we ever raise a price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Job listings and career information
Jobs come from employers’ public career sites and may be filled, changed, or removed at any time. We don’t employ, endorse, or vouch for any employer, and applying happens on their sites. Pay and career outlook figures come from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and O*NET; they are national estimates, not offers or promises.
No guarantees about jobs
We work hard to help you get interviews, but we can’t promise you’ll get any particular interview, job, or salary.
Fair use
Don’t use Ivy’s Index to break the law, to make a resume for someone without their permission, to put false information on a resume, to copy or resell the site or its job data, to scrape it with automated tools, or to try to break into accounts or our systems. We may suspend accounts that do.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Your data in the app. We may close accounts that break these terms; if we close yours without cause, we’ll refund any unused part of your plan.
The legal fine print
Ivy’s Index is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the site will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any dispute will be handled in its courts, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell account holders by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Using Ivy’s Index after that means you accept the new terms.
